Cartridge Maintenance

Wet ClothWet a soft paper towel or cloth with the appropriate solution:

For FastDry cartridges:
use Isopropyl Alcohol
For Aqueous Cartridges:
use Water

Wet NozzlesHold the nozzles on the wet cloth for 30-60 seconds

Flick CartridgeWrap some cartridge over the nozzles to catch any ink, then “flick” the cartridge a few times to eject the absorbed solution
CAUTION: Ink may splatter
Wear appropriate hand/eye/clothing protection and cover work surface

Dry WipeWipe the nozzles of the cartridge vertically. You should see a streak of ink. If not you may have to re-do the soak+flick procedure

Check ContactsCheck the contacts of the cartridge and clean off any ink

Test NozzlesDo a test print or perform a Nozzle Check to verify if more maintenance is needed
